Margaret's Stone Parlor?

Postby petercbenson » Thu Oct 26, 2006 11:44 am

Reading old trail guides to the old Minnewaska resorts, I keep coming across mention of an attraction known as Margaret's Stone Parlor and Jacob's Ladder. The former sounds like it may be a cave and the latter presumably a wooden ladder or stone steps. They appear to be off of the Spruce Glenn Path, at the base of Margaret Cliff. I've been on that path but have not noticed any caves or viable ways to get up the cliff. Anybody have any information about these places?[/b]
