The painting of Minnewaska was done by Frank Waller (1842-1923), who often exhibited at the National Academy of Design in New York, and later at the Art Students League. The painting is an oil on board, 10" x 14", and was likely painted in the 1890's. I also have a smaller oil by him of a view looking toward the so-called "lemon squeeze" from the Mohonk Mountain House, not far from Minnewaska. I acquired the painting of Minnewaska in California and the one of Mohonk in New Jersey, so there may be others of the two-lakes area spread across the country.

I am a fine art appraiser working on an extensive collection owned by the great grandson of Waller. Does anyone know of museum collections or responsible private collectors that may be interested in acquiring this beautiful collection of sketch dairies and paintings? Kind regards
