Bulletin Board Spam

I 've noticed a lot of 'garbage' posts infiltrating the site; just look below this thread! One thing I've noticed is that non-registered users are allowed to post. Most boards I've been to allow guest to view, but only allow registered users to post. I would imagine it keeps a lot of riff-raff off the boards.

Has the administrator here looked into seting it up that way to keep the spam off the boards?
