Can anyone tell me if there are locations offering great photo opportunities along the trail?

are you looking on a particular trail or just the park in general? actually, imo, there are endless photo ops any and everywhere in that place.

Hi there . In my opinion the best places to start shooting pictures is all around the perimeter of
Lake Minnewaska , from the top of the cliffs as well as from the shore line . The second place is the area around Awosting Falls .
But wait until you get a clear blue sky day which makes all the difference because then you have those
incredible shadows which changes things merely beautiful into pure splendor . Shadows always seem
to add that extra dimension to nearly everything .
By looking at all the photos posted here you will see not only the greatest places to shoot but their names and locations as well .
