There are a couple different (amazing) places I've found, which I refer to as 'hippie fields'. These places are clearings created by ridge rock. In the clearings are all manner of cairns and other rock-piling artwork. rock rings, spirals, tables, pyramids, teeter totter's, triangles, etc. The places are surreal and I can almost see the hippies playing in the sun and piling the rocks, (hence my reference).
Has anyone else stumbled upon these and are there any stories of their origin?

Indeed, reminds me of flower children
These fields are so peaceful and beautiful. I've traveled the world and seen lots of gorgeous places, but nothing inspires me more than good old Minnewaska
