PDF File The Tale of the Trapps (PDF Format) 983K

Word Document* The Tale of the Trapps (Word Format) This is an article which appeared as a supplement in the Wallkill Valley Times on February 26, 2003. This article gives a brief history of the town of the Trapps. Also included is a Trapps related timeline, and the wonderful photography of G. Steve Jordan who runs the www.mohonkimages.com website. The Word formatted file is much clearer and easier to read. Don't know what I'm doing wrong with Acrobat, but to get the same clarity increases the size to 2.5 MB's. The Word file is 538K. Thanks to Sharon Saracino for passing this on to the website. Reprinted with permission by the Wallkill Valley Times.

PDF File "Twin Peaks" Part 1. This is a two-part series about Lake Mohonk & Lake Minnewaska written by Brian Anglin of the [then] Huguenot & Highland Herald. Now it is the New Paltz times, and they have graciously given us permission to make these articles available for viewing. I don't have any dates on these stories, but my guess is sometime in the early 1990's. 843,952 bytes
