Q: Is swimming allowed at the park?

A: Yes only in the roped off section in the "beach" area of the lake and only in the summer season. To swim the entire lake, you will need to be certified. Contact MDSA for more info.

Q: Is there lodging at Minnewaska?

A: This is the number one question we receive. The answer is NO not at the lake. The closest lodging is approximately 7 miles away in Kerhonkson.
